The stay at Harrington's was memorable for several reasons. Jackie, the host, offered a warm welcome. The room had a huge double bed and was exceptionally clean, with a separate kitchen and lounge area. The bathroom featured a large shower with plenty of towels. Each morning, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast with various options, including eggs on toast and a fried breakfast. Plus, there was a pool table in the lounge area, which added to the fun. I faced some inconveniences with external noise at night. People walking past the guest house sang and shouted, especially on weekends, making it hard to sleep. the portable air conditioning unit was quite loud, disrupting the comfort. there are some noise issues to consider, especially for light sleepers, but the friendly atmosphere and clean accommodations were greatly appreciated.

Clean and modern facilities throughout the guest house.
The noise from outside kept us awake at night, despite having to keep our window open due to the warm weather. The portable air conditioning unit was loud and disruptive, and it only had a timer. the distance to the toilet was inconvenient, as it was located outside our room and required a little extra effort, which I hadn’t expected.

Perfect Base for Newquay Adventures
Had a fantastic stay for four nights! The double room was clean with a cozy vibe. We appreciated the proximity to shops and the beach. For evening enjoyment, a nearby café offered excellent late-night eats, but returning to a bar at the guest house would have enhanced the experience. Highly recommend this spot!

The stay was enjoyable with a clean and comfortable double room just a short walk from the nearest beach, shops, and trains. The hosts were welcoming, and we had a lot of fun with the table tennis and pool in the lounge area. Even though breakfast wasn't offered, plenty of cafes nearby served great food until late. The central location allowed us to explore Newquay easily!

Had a lovely stay for four nights! The room was cozy and had everything I needed. I enjoyed some relaxing time in the lounge playing pool and unwinding on the patio. Just a heads up, it got a bit noisy from the street at night, but it didn’t dampen my overall experience. 👍

The hosts were genuinely accommodating, providing a warm and friendly environment. The cleanliness of the guest house was remarkable, making it a comfortable retreat. I particularly appreciated the lovely decor that added charm to our experience. Breakfast at nearby cafes was delightful, offering a variety of hearty options to start the day. Although we enjoyed our stay, the parking situation could be a bit chaotic.

Welcomed kindly, the hosts maintain a spotless environment. The location is ideal—close to shops and just a short stroll to the beach. Enjoyed the lounge area with a pool table and access to complimentary drinks in the room, which had great facilities for our stay. While breakfast wasn't provided, the nearby cafes offered ample options. A limited parking situation could be improved, and the noise from the street might bother light sleepers at times.

Parking was a bit tricky due to the limited spaces, which could lead to some hassle after a long day at the beach. If you're a light sleeper, be prepared for occasional noise disturbances from the street outside, especially when those revelers pass by late at night. It could get a touch too warm in the rooms as well, and the absence of air conditioning was felt, particularly in upper-level accommodations. Lastly, the distant bathroom situation was a bit of a surprise, since it required extra effort to access, taking me out of my comfort zone after a long day.
